This was a very long day! We did a little bit of everything. After the funeral Brandon let the kids 4 wheel on the tiny 4 wheeler - still it freaks me out to have them on there but I gave in. They all had a blast and BK actually worked so that there was no fighting over it! Way to go BK. We even had some sparklers. It was the extent of any celebrating Katie's first Bday! It just wasn't a day for a party so we will have it on the 15th instead. All in all it was a good day and we got to spend it together remembering Val and enjoying each other.
Kelsie and Dev have a cute little dog that Katie and Nick couldn't get enough of, that is until that got enough of and would run away and then run back for more!
