For some reason I have a thing about giving other people's kids their first haircut. I did it to Nick Alexander, some little kid I babysat and now to Nick Keller. On this day we were supposed to go to the Phoenix Zoo, but between traffic, and windy weather we decided to go to a movie and hang out at Ryan's. Brandon and Andrea left early to go to the temple and got stuck in traffic. I called them and asked if I could cut Nick's hair and the reluctantly agreed. So I went for it! He was fine until I put a trash bag over his shoulders for a makeshift cape. He started to scream so I took off the trash bag and held him while Darrin cut. Soon Darrin gave up and left me on my own with Heidi. Heidi had the idea of giving him candy, and as soon as we did he stopped crying immediately. I finished the cut, which was far from perfect but not too bad for a 10 month old baby! I think he looks great. Andrea didn't recognise him later that night we she and Brandon finally got back.
