The Wedge

This is one of many places I have never heard of before. We went to Price for Easter and Ana's blessing and on Saturday we went with Joan and Darrell, PK and Heather and her dad Greg Payne for a picnic. It was very windy and that made it cold. It was a fun day though. We drove to the Wedge Looked at it and then drove around looking for a warm spot to eat. Along the way Darrell showed the boys a real dinosaur footprint, they (and I) thought it was pretty darn cool! After lunch We hung around and the boys went on a hike with Darrell.
Katie went on a walk with Greg. He was shocked that she was willing to leave our site. We told him she is a very friendly baby and likes almost everyone. plus I think she really liked his mustache.

This was the picture tree. It was a neat crooked tree that looked old and seemed like a good place to pose for photos, so there are a lot. Plus it was a good tree to climb, even PK climbed up. Don't worry Darrin had plenty of jokes to tease him with.

Joan had filled a bunch of eggs for the boys to hunt for and she had Darrin help her hide them. When they stared to open them they were shocked that some of the eggs were empty, he had eaten the candy out of some of the eggs. Darrin had a really bad cold and slept most of the time - I gave him a hard time but he was a trooper for coming. Greg was nice enough to take some pictures of us all. The drive home was beautiful! There is a lot of pretty places in Utah, check one more off our list of places to see.

Sometimes carseats come in handy.

This is called Hanging Bridge. Cars actually drove over this. Darrell said that he and Joan had - it does not seem safe to me!
